The Canzòi valley presents a stunning natural environment and is home to some of the most beautiful paths in the surrounding mountains. It is a geomorphological transitional landscape and an exceptional example of the different landscapes found in this part of the World Heritage Site. The highly accessible Orsera nature trail is one of just a handful of easy itineraries in this area with its typically pre-Alpine morphology: barely accessible elongated ridges, cliffs overlooked by gentle, grassy peaks, and deeply carved valleys and gorges. This itinerary is of great interest from an environmental and ecological point of view and affords a stunning view of some of the wildest and most intact areas of the Dolomiti Bellunesi and the Vette Feltrine, which belong to the “Pale di San Martino, San Lucano, Dolomiti Bellunesi, Vette Feltrine” system of the UNESCO Dolomites.
