Vittorino Cazzetta Museum

The Vittorino Cazzetta Museum is famous because it contains an exceptional finding: a sepulcher of a Mesolithic hunter on the Alps, the Mondeval Man. And Vittorino Cazzetta, to whom the museum is dedicated, did this remarkable discovery.
The Museum proposes also the reconstruction of the great wall of the main Dolomite stone, on which a holographic projection highlights the various paths of the dinosaurs found at the foot of the Pelmetto Mountain: another exceptional discovery, as they are the first traces of dinosaurs found on the Italian Alps.
And that is not all: many prehistoric findings and other documents give the visitor an evocative overview of the territory of Selva di Cadore.
