Falcade, situated in the heart of the Agordino area and crowned by the Cime del Focobon and the Cime d'Auta peaks, with its lovely villages dotted with farmhouses, is the ideal base for nature lovers and skiers alike.
San Tomaso. Celat is the township centre, around which are the other villages with their farmhouses zealously kept and well preserved.
Vallada Agordina, seven villages in this township between mounts Frena and Celentone, and the peaks of the Cime di Pezza. Vallada feels as though from another time, with its villages and old farmhouses. Be sure to see the beautiful Church of San Simon, a national monument.
Canale d'Agordo, one of the oldest communities of the area. This is the birthplace of Albino Luciani, Pope John Paul I. The beautiful Val di Gares is worth a visit, and not only for cross-country skiers.
Cencenighe, an important centre of the Agordino area, where the main roads of the Valle del Biois and the Val Cordevole meet.
