Agordo is surrounded by the majestic peaks of Agner, San Sebastiano, Tamer, Framont, Moiazza, and Pale di San Lucano. This is the ideal vacation spot, within easy reach of the best winter ski resorts.
Rivamonte is located on the slopes of mount Amarolo, in a dominating position on the Conca Agordina bowl. The township is part of the National Park of the Bellunesi Dolomites, and offers numerous ways to visit unspoiled environments and admire various protected species of flora and fauna.
Gosaldo rises up at the feet of Croda Grana, the mountain that is a symbol for the town. The township is made up of many small villages distributed over a vast area, but whose population has decreased signficantly since the disastrous floods of 1966.
La Valle is a green valley between mounts Framont, Moiazza and Celo, and enclosed at the north end by the San Sebastiano chain. The township is comprised of many villages throughout the valley, and numbers about 1000 inhabitants. At about 800 metres, this is a great destination for low-altitude hikes along the valley's roads and trails.
Voltago and the village of Frassenè are in a panoramic spot under mount Agner, the Stone Giant of the Dolomites. Here you can find many ways to relax, from pleasant strolls in the forests, to excursions with expert guides up mount Agnre, to a trip up the Croda Grande with its breathtaking panoramas of the Dolomite massifs.
Taibon sits to the right of the Cordevole stream, at the mouth of the Valle di San Lucano valley and enclosed bewteen the great walls of mount Agnre and the Pale di San Lucano peaks. The wealth of natural beauty makes the Valle di San Lucano and also the Val Corpassa Taibon an ideal tourist destination.
