They are renowned throughout the world: from the Belluno Pre-alps to Cansiglio, towering over Alpago, and then Cristallo, Sorapis, the Tofane overlooking Cortina, Marmolada, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo above the lake of Misurina; the Marmarole, so dear to painter Tiziano, Pelmo, Antelao, and Civetta - the watershed between Agordo and Zoldo valleys; white Peralba, on the bordeer between the Sappada valley- where the river Piave has its source- and Austria.
