Marmolada: the Museum of the Great War is the highest museum of the world!

Marmolada preserves, in caves and subways, the memory of those men whom, withdrawn from their families and from their sweetest loves, were sent up there to the war.
Nowadays you can admire a magnificent exhibition, including a lot of findings and documents
dating back to the war period.
Small arms, uniforms, personal belongings
, objects used on the operation site, letters, documents, photos which belonged both to Italian and Austrian soldiers.
The Museum is known for its altitude, it lies at 2950 metres.
It can be visited in the period in which the Serauta cableway station is opened. The admission is free
