Impressionists and post-impressionists in Rovereto
The exhibition at the Mart, the Museum of Modern Art in Rovereto in the province of Trento, presents the masterpieces from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
This is the first time the masterpieces by these impressionist and post-impressionist leave the museum to travel abroad, and in Italy they are being presented exclusively by the Mart, for the inauguration of its lively autumn season.
Camille Pissarro, Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet and the American Childe Hassam, and impressionists such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Henri-Edmond Cross and Edouard Vuillard, together with splendid examples of sculpture by Auguste Rodin, Edgar Degas and Aristide Maillol.
